So whos going to tell my friends who are almost 40 now, by the way –  that that messy nest of hair they so dearly loved to flaunt as teenagers is back in style again? How hard is it to have to admit that all those people who used to say, No hairdressers for me, Ill do it all by myselfwere actually right? Whatever look you prefer, dear men, its smooth sailing from here on in: youre free to wear your hair however you choose (not that its any different for women, to be honest), all you need to do is put in a little extra effort to be definitively cool. For example, you can flaunt a vintage mustache: it has taken the runways by storm and is now the preferred look of those who love dandy elegance or want to be photographed during fashion week (its called street style, and it unveils big surprises every year). Now that mens fashion week is over, we can recap the highlights. What are the male beauty trends for Fall/Winter 2018-19? Well go through each one, point-by-point and tell you whats in. Then, you can go through the check list with your boyfriend – hell decide what style he prefers. (Good Luck!)

90s and the mod look

Long bangs and Nineties Oasis style haircuts (see the runway at Neil Barrett) on the one hand mod, and soft Beatles inspired bowl cuts slightly messy at the front and shorter at the nape on the other. What decade do feel best represents you?

The most minimal of trends in 2018, will be super popular (for him and for her): to rock this look have a glance at the runways at Versace.

Healthy look

Grooming is fresh, natural and bright for sun kissed skin (the exact opposite of a tired face after 12 hours of computer work. Might this be a way of prompting a lifestyle change?), while eyebrows are wild but well-defined. Runway reference: Roberto Cavalli, Zegna and Dsquared2.

Curly hair

Codeword: voluminous and lightweight with a slight Sixtiesinclination. MSGM and Marni know this all too well as they chose this very hair look for their models.

Natural look

Finally, the protagonists of this look are natural textures that are pleasant to the touch and are able to transmit a sense of simplicity and softness for a velvety soft effect. Runway reference: N°21.
