I am so happy to share that I’ve partnered with to bring you weekly doses of fitness inspiration. I am always so happy when you reach out to me with stories of your workouts and of how you’re being active. As I’ve mentioned in the past, research shows that daily exercise provides numerous benefits to our overall wellness and our longevity.  I also saw a quote once that said something along the lines of, “it’s easy to maintain your health, while it is difficult to regain it.” This simple principle is my number one reason for staying fit. And it is the reason why it was so important for me to create these new videos for you. Every little bit counts and being active is a journey that we get to work on for life: free of judgments, generous in patience, grounded in realistic goals; and most importantly, at our own pace. After all, regular and consistent self care is some of the best medicine for wellness. So please join me in this series as we work on being our healthiest selves.

For our first video, I share some isometric exercises that are a great way to warm up before your workouts.

This set of exercises include:
1. Downward Facing Dog to Camel Pose
2. Plank to Extended Side Angle Pose
3. Plank to Low Squat

To receive the optimal benefits of this warmup, hold each pose for 30 seconds and repeat the set three times.
Add these easy exercises to your weekly routine to increase physical and mental strength.
