2018 Gift Guide
Just in time for some panicked, sweaty, late-night decision making, we are so excited to finally share with you our 2018 gift guide! If you, like us, promised yourself that you would complete your holiday lists way before Thanksgiving and then highway hypnotised your way into only two weeks of shopping left, use this edit as a loose guideline while shopping for those you love (and throwing things in for yourself). We’re chock full of wellness essentials, fashion indulgences and some must-reads as well, but if anything is missing from our selects, leave us your picks in the comments. But do it quickly because… well, 14 days left.

My mom used to do gua sha on me as a kid and ever since reading Roki’s piece about gua sha facials I have been wanting to invest in a beautiful functional tool. Odacite is the BEST, and this is a simple beautiful gift for a friend as a reminder to treat themselves gently.
I haven’t done Pilates in ages and am ready to get back on the horse. Everyone I know loves Fort Pilates, and packs of classes are a great gift for your friends who you know have a hard time making time for themselves (if you are my friend that friend is me).
Sunday Riley Let It Glow Kit Olivela, Purchase buys 4 days of school.
Anything from Olivela, who donates 20% of the purchase price of any item to girls education worldwide. Love this site’s mission and message so much, and they carry everything from ready to wear to wellness and lifestyle products.
Roki and I are both obsessed with CAP Beauty, I will basically do anything they suggest. Can’t wait to try these adaptogen blends that are specially crafted for consumption before what you do at each of the times of day in the name!
The world is rough out there right now, I need something festive and cozy for just me.
See above, but the travel version, and for all mankind.
Let’s be real, I won’t be able to hold off until the end of the year on buying this myself, but it’s also a book I wouldn’t mind owning six to ten copies of, and I will be gifting this title FREELY over the holiday season.
This jacket is for me, and it’s my white whale. Equal parts sassy and cozy, colorful but muted, functional and fun, it is basically the closest I will ever get to turning myself into a piece of outerwear.

A moving story of love in the face of injustice. I’ll be gifting this book a lot this season, but I’m also looking forward to a friend date to the film adaptation that comes out this week.
The Bouqs Co. is the destination for on-demand floral arrangements. Cut flowers are gorgeous, but I love giving live plants to friends and loved ones. They last so much longer and grow and change as the years go by.
The best gift to yourself could be a nice bath and a podcast, plain and simple.
Advent calendars are extremely underrated, and there is no better vehicle for festive beauty samples!! Honestly your loved ones will still welcome this in January if you end up running into OT.
Always on the best scented candle list, this is my go-to for add-ons and office gifts.
Ember lets you select your preferred drinking temperature and will keep it there – a total game-changer for the coffee and tea lovers in your life!
Winter holiday necessities (or just need to have).
This book is a perfect gift for a little one, especially if you have a little one that loves fashion. It’s the debut book of Eva Chen, the head of fashion partnerships at Instagram, and the storyline (and outfits) are as adorable as you would expect from the globe-trotting mom of two.
Tamu McPherson, Chief Lover
Everyone is raving about The Beautiful Oil by Kjaer Weis. I’m already a huge admirer of Kirsten Kjaer Weis’ makeup philosophy, so I’m super keen to try this product. It will be the perfect holiday treat.
Is it me or has small home items and decor fallen undeservingly low on the go-to gift list?? Meanwhile, these sorts of gifts are the best way to show that you understand your dear one’s taste and want them to live in the lap of luxury. Chic and delicate, this drinking set is the perfect accent to any table or bar.
I am having a full-on love affair with the London-based brand Kwaidan Editions. I can’t get enough of their trousers, and these python-print leather stunners are no exception.
Have you ever even seen velvet this color? These fall squarely into the necessity section for any wardrobe – and the BB point is becoming a surefire classic.
Jean Prouvé double bed, model no. 452, designed for the Société Centrale des Alliages Légers, Issoire, circa 1953
We’ve been in our apartment now for one year and still haven’t found a bed for our guest room. We’ve been looking for something extra special, and I hope to find something along the lines of this iconic Jean Prouvé design. This of course would be the ultimate holiday gift.
This Fontana Arte Uovo Lamp is practically wrapped and under our tree. It’s the perfect family gift.
I was a starving student when I dreamt of owning the original Dior Saddle bag that Carrie Bradshaw slayed up and down New York with on Sex and the City. A proven fashion icon making a major comeback, it’s a great gift idea.
I am fully obsessed with the 2019 Pirelli Calendar. Misty Copeland graces it’s pages along with fellow ABT dancer Calvin Royal III, sharing the storyline with Laetitia Casta and Gigi Hadid. This will be my go-to add-on for every friend and family member.

I’ve been eyeing this gorgeous watch for months now. Since I’ve been nothing but nice, I’m throwing this on my Christmas list.
A simple sleek mirror when off, switch it on to work out with a personal trainer or exercise with your friends. The convenience of technology in the comfort of your own home makes staying active one step easier. Consider this gift for anyone that loves to squeeze a little extra fitness into each day, including yourself (but especially Tamu!)
This chaise lounge in homage to Charlotte Perriand was sadly lost in our house during the Malibu Fires. We had the Louis Vuitton limited edition version and it is probably the one thing I am most upset about losing. Its beauty and function is irreplaceable, and this piece is one that will have to always be in our home.
With this winter weather making me feel dry, with especially cracked lips, I need some serious TLC. I keep spotting these cheeky lip masks and would love to try them to get my lips back to feeling smooth.
I am in desperate need for some new beginnings after the way my year has unfolded. The energy of this Rainbow Moonstone can help release repressed feelings and create new beginnings by washing through the spirit. Get ready for 2019 with this powerful stone.
Comme des Garçon Collaborations never misses in my book. Their flare gives any classic piece that extra touch without taking it overboard. I am loving the take on the Nike Cortez with that tall platform, giving a Spice Girls pep to my step.
This is probably one of the few products of makeup I will actually wear. I was initially very hesitant when I first bought this foundation because of the hefty price tag, but it lasted me for a year and a half (I hardly take the time to put on makeup) and now I am in need for a new bottle. Santa??
A girl can never have enough candles. And mix that with Bella Freud’s quirky notes on her homeware expansion makes me wanting every catch phrase that comes on these candles. This specific scent includes notes of neroli and lilac flower with a earthy base of cedar wood.
