Nike has launched their new Nike Training Club App NTC App, and I decided to give it a whirl for you. Here’s what I discovered. The new Nike+ Training Club app includes over 100 new workouts inspired by the world’s top athletes designed for women and, for the first time, for men as well, by Nike Master Trainers. They feature personalized training programs – which are flexible and can be adapted according to any progress made – combine exercises, intensity and recovery perfectly, in line with physical fitness and objectives to be reached. Input is both automated and entered manually by the user: NTC asks how challenging a session was and adjusts the subsequent workout accordingly. The focus is on weekly workouts inspired by elite athletes and connections to other activities – like running and swimming. With the Rio olympics right around the corner, you can tune into how some of your favorite athletes train for their events. Start now and you may even perform like an olympian come August. Ok, ok, that’s a bit ambitious, but you look and feel amazing, and you know what? You just never know. (Wink) So go download the new app now on your Iphone or Android.


Here’s the breakdown of the workout that the Nike Training Club App custom tailored for me:

1. Running in Place – 30 Seconds
2. Free Squats – 25 Squats
3. Fast Pace In and Out – 20 Times
4. Lateral Alternating Jumps – 10 Times per Side
5. Push Ups- 15 Push Ups
6. Alternative Lunge- 12 per Leg, 24 Total
1 Minute Recovery for Beginners, for intermediate try to decrease recovery time.
