My Theresa Workout #4: Get Gorgeous, Toned Legs with These Three Exercises

by Tamu McPherson

My friends are always surprised when I wear a miniskirt. I have no problems with baring skin – I really need to find my college party pictures to prove it. It’s just that I currently tend to gravitate more towards all-over-fabric, Anja made me promise to change this proclivity this year, and I am totally here for it.

So whenever I break out my legs, my friends are always like “OMG, you have great legs and you should show them more often.” In fact, at Anna Dello Russo’s charity auction this past February, Linda Fargo of Bergdorf Goodman recounted that she was curious about the hot looking woman standing in front of her at the entrance to the dinner. The hot one was little old moi in a sequins tuxedo dress by my friend Winonah De Jong.

I do consider my legs to be my best assets, and I am grateful for generous DNA, my years running track & field, consistent gym workouts and my running routine. When I’m in the gym I often complete the leg exercises featured in this week’s video which focuses on achieving a strong, lengthy and toned form.

Here’s the run of the workout:
Front Lunge With Lateral Raise – 2 sets of 12 reps.
Mountain Climbers – Start with a slow pace and do 1 or 2 sets of 8 to 10 repetitions, increase reps once you have built up resistance.
Leg Raises – 3 sets of 15 reps.

Try these out and let me know what you think!
