4 Ways to Wear Striped, Menswear-inspired Shirts

Tamu's TV | TRENDY BIRDS

I have a thing with striped, menswear-inspired shirts. The more whimsical, the better. I loved them growing up, when I dressed up preppy and paired them with jeans, Bass loafers, Converse, Vans or Nikes. I fell for them hard when I began dating my Italian husband who wore them to class during law school. Yes he has his initials monogrammed under his chest. Hey There Pretty Birds,

In Part I of this episode of Tamu’s Cafe, I sit down with my friend Arlene Antoinette Gibbs who worked as a producer and screenwriter in Hollywood before moving to Rome and becoming an interior decorator. Extremely well travelled, a renaissance woman, refreshingly bubbly, she is an absolute joy to talk to and to bounce ideas around with. Please get to know her and be inspired by her wise point of view on race and building your own business. And, stay tuned for Part II, it’s just as inspiring.

#17: Lunch with Social Eating Power House, Lidia Forlivesi

Tamu's TV | TAMU'S CAFE

Hey There Pretty Birds,
We’re back with our latest episode of Tamu’s Cafe. In this episode I sit down with Lidia Forlivesi, founder of the successful blog Non Solo Food. I like to call Lidia a food multi-tasker because of the many hats that she wears on and off-line. I discovered Lidia and her work through some mutual friends who always spoke enthusiastically about her projects. She’s someone that I’ve admired from a far for a long time, and I’m so happy to have gotten the opportunity to sit down with her for lunch here on Tamu’s Cafe. So, grab a cup or glass of your favorite beverage and please enjoy getting to know her.
