Given the fickle weather we’ve been subject to in NYC this year, it’s no surprise that even the most stylish are struggling with what to wear in these unpredictable times. From swelteringly hot days to bitterly cold nights, these temperamental temps are putting a serious cramp in everyone’s style game.

Fortunately for us (and everyone else), we’ve partnered with Yves Salomon, outerwear brand extraordinaire, to breakdown the best transitional jackets to keep us looking cool and staying cozy in any condition.

Checkout the below as our chief lover, and street style champion, Tamu and I breakdown how to rock these cooler than cool pieces from Yves Salomon and then snag them for yourself on their brand new e-commerce site. We would love to know which pieces you will be rocking this season in the comments.

Parka Pretty

Versatile and stylish, the parka champions two of our favorite Fall/Winter trends; military maven and statement furs. Rock it with your favorite denim for a casual look, or take some inspiration from Tamu and pair it with tartan, another breakout trend we can’t get enough of.

Bomber Babe

Not exactly a new trend, but bomber jackets hold their MVP status in our hearts as the ultimate cool girl staple. Give a fresh update to this fashion fave, like Tamu, by adding a statement pant for effortless perfection. When in doubt, add Celine.

The Long Bomber

Unlike its shorter counterpart, the long bomber is a relatively new take on this classic style.  One part bomber, the other part car coat, this versatile hybrid gets our vote for most stylish outwear of the season. Stealing extra points with reversibility, the looks are limitless with this silhouette. As far as how to rock this wardrobe must-have, try Tamu’s mixed-print ensemble and statement earrings to lively up yourself.
