Sweet, beautiful Antigua!

Antiguan Vibes

Pretty Posts | |

I have wanted to experience sweet Antiguan Vibes ever since my Caribbean Student Association days at Binghamton University. One of our club members was Antiguan and her tales of life on the island and nearby twin island Barbuda always charmed me. Earlier this year, after my husband shot down my idea of a mini-road trip in California, I asked a couple of friends for some suggestions for islands other than Jamaica to visit with PJ on his Spring break. And want a novel way to do it? Via a cruise along the Garonne river and it’s estuaries! This isn’t your grandmother’s way of cruising. A cruise is actually the perfect way to vineyard hop in style while in this picturesque region — and without any worries of “who’s going to drive!” Round up the squad, and let me show you how to have the perfect Girlfriend Getaway in Bordeaux.

First Impressions on Cape Town, South Africa By Tamu McPherson

Bittersweet. I traveled to Cape Town, South Africa for the first time ever to attend the 50th birthday celebration of one of my one of my dearest friends. Rossie, a brilliant attorney at one of the top law firms in the world, is a connoisseur of the finest everything. You name it, he enjoys travel, wine, music and photography, but the thing that sits at the top of his list of passions, is a quasi-religious respect for stimulating conversation.
